How to use the lace needle?
Take the end of one side of the lace and cut it at an angle using scissors or a utility knife.
Insert the tip of the cut lace into the notch of the lace needle "small hole opposite the point".
Then turn the lace into the hole in a clockwise direction, as if you were screwing it in. You will feel when it is secured, pull slightly on the lace to see if it holds well. If not, turn a little more.
Pass the lace through the front of the shoe and move along the side, taking care to place the needle on its flat side, then do the same with the other lace and you are done.
